A selection of projects in machine learning, compilers, systems and computer architecture.
Ongoing project: an autonomous drone that surveys an area, detects people and vehicles, places each of them on a map and reports what it found, with all perception running onboard. Currently in simulation (PX4, Gazebo), moving to a physical prototype.
Machine learning project on recommender systems and collaborative filtering. Given a sparse user–movie rating matrix, we developed and evaluated methods for predicting missing ratings.
Implementation of a compiler for a subset of the Koka programming language, written in OCaml.
Implementation of core Git functionality in OCaml, exploring content-addressable storage, repository structure and version-control mechanisms.
Design and simulation of a microprocessor from low-level logical components, together with tools for executing and simulating netlist programs.
