As a doctoral teaching assistant I taught Biology, Developmental Psychology, and Academic skills and methods to Psychology undergraduates.

I assisted Karine Mazens and David Meary teaching the following classes:
As part of giving the Topics in Dev. Psych. lectures I had the opportunity to design a short curriculum along with lecture slides and exam materials. Between sessions students were encouraged to borrow books which I brought to class and briefly introduced before break.

I had the opportunity to assist in teaching the following two biology/neurobiology classes, thanks to a M.Sc. teaching degree (Agrégation) in biology:
The class led by Christian Graff covered the basics of developmental biology and evolutionary biology, from Linnée and Darwin to phylogeny and evo-devo. It also included an introduction to paleoanthropology – on the right, the paintings of the Chauvet Cave that reveal striking technical mastery and mature expressiveness at a time where Europeans still mixed with Neanderthals (-30 000 years).
As part of teaching this class I developped a series of online materials including videos and quizzes to address the needs of students with limited background in biology, and structured handouts including references and main points to facilitate indeendent study.
Three labs covered the basics of visual, auditory, and gustatory perception. An additional lab was dedicated to neural conduction (frog sciatic nerve: threshold, maximal stimulus, conduction velocity).

I had the opportunity to assist Marcela Perrone-Bertolotti in teaching this class which covered note taking, academic writing, oral presentations, bibliographic searchs, and plagiarism. This innovative class was introduced by Marcela Perrone-Bertolotti to address the needs of a diverse student body, including many “first-generation” college students who uniquely benefit from an explicit introduction to the methodology and expectations of academic work. The first session was dedicated to an explicit introduction to psychological phenomenons involved in learning (attention, memory) and was specifically designed to enhance students’ metacognitive awareness and skills.
This class introduced first year undergraduates to experimental methods in the social and psychological sciences to foster critical, scientific thinking.
Lecture to graduate TAs, University of Grenoble-Alps
This annual workshop, organized by Marcela Perrone-Bertolotti, provides non-Psychology graduate TAs with tools to reflect on and enhance their own teaching experience. Topics covered in the 2014 workshop included an overview of the field of experimental psychology, attention and memory, perceptual processes, motivation, and stress as these relate to the teaching situation at an undergraduate level.
Note: Bachelor degrees take 3 years in France.
