Introducing the Matpopmod Python library
My friend and colleague François Bienvenu and I are happy to share with you the first version of our python library for the study of Matrix Population models: matpopmod.
This first version allows to compute a variety of common and less common model descriptors, simulate and plot deterministic and stochastic trajectories, and easily create graphical representation of models (life cycle, eigenvalues…). The next versions will add even more descriptors, individual based simulations and more !
Matpopmod is a work in progress, designed for our own research, but we are happy to accept contributions and suggestions on our gitlab repository.
Here's a short demo reel I made:

Software used: matpopmod (duh.), Peek for screencap and flowblade for video edition.
