Transportation
There is an airport in Clermont-Ferrand with many daily flights by Air France French/English and from/to Paris Orly and Charles de Gaulle and Lyon, and a few more from/to Nantes and Nice. Here is (pdf) the list of all regular flights from and to Clermont-Ferrand. Besides, there are about 8 daily roundtrips by train between Paris Gare-de-Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand (3:00 to 3:30 hours), and about 7 daily roundtrips between Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand (2:00 to 2:30 hours, no reservation needed). You can quickly check timetables on CFF's website and slowly book your ticket on SNCF's subcontractor's site.

Location
From the Gare SNCF (Central Station) in Clermont-Ferrand, to go to the campus, take Bus B, direction Royat Allard, and stop for a connection at Jaude [alternative: at Gare SNCF take bus 8, direction Beaumont and stop for a connection at CHU Montpied]. Then take Tram A, direction La Pardieu-Gare and stop at Cézeaux-Pellez. Expect 30-35 minutes; in the daytime there are buses approximatively every 10 minutes and trams every 6 minutes.
From the airport, it is possible to reach downtown by bus lines 10, 20 or by taxi. Bus line 10 serves both Gare SNCF and Jaude.

Accomodation
The conference will start on Monday, June the 7th at 14:45, and will finish on Friday, June the 11th at 12:20.

We recall that participants have to take care of their accomodation. Several participants booked a studio in CITEA Clermont, which is now fully booked. CITEA is located near the tram station Jaude, which is connected to the Gare SNCF Station by Tram B and to the Campus by Tram A. Also, we regularly accomodate our guest in the following three hotels:
