It finds sequences in the bank sharing some similarities with the query sequence(s), sorts and display them (matching functionnality). installation guideThis is the guide for downloading and installing the software on your local computer. It works under MacOX, and UNIXes only MS-Windows version not (yet) available, though the non-graphic module may work in a command (shell) window. Note that you should also download an adequate biological databank which may take some Gigabytes of storage. Software exists in both French and English versions. |

NOTEFrom 2005 feb 28th on automat maintained release is automat3, this release is not compatible (though it is for most cases) with automat2 configurations files, hence the number change. In all following pages, just substitute automat3 to automat2. |
