Welcome on my professional webpages as a former academic mathematician. I am Rémi Peyre, years old (picture). From 2011 to 2026 I have been a maître de conférences (≈ assistant professor) at the École des Mines de Nancy, which is a French grande école (a kind of small university training high-level engineers); and, as for my research activity, a member of the matchematics laboratory “Institut Élie Cartan de Lorraine”. My research topics were about probability and analysis, especially on questions connected to physics (in a broad sense).
Since March 2026, I am on a sabbatical leave from my academic position, looking for a career change. However I am keepind this webpage available to the public, because of the useful stuff that you might retrieve on it.
