Martin RIEU

PhD in physics at ABCD Lab , Ecole Normale Supérieure Directors : Vincent Croquette and J-F. Allemand.

Ths website presents some teaching and my PhD work defended in 2021 (manuscript).

I am now a post-doctoral research assistant in Richard Berry's team at Oxford University, working on rotary nanomotors

Research Interests:

Biophysics and biochemistry of nucleic acids
Force spectroscopy: high-resolution optical design for microparticles tracking, micromanipulation of long polymers
Superresolution microscopy: Interferometry and subanometric tracking of particles.
Biophysics of nucleic acids/protein interactions: Single-molecule affinity and kinetic measurements of DNA/RNA and protein bindings
Statistical inference of parameters from complex experimental data: study of noisy data, evaluation of uncertainties, comparison with theoretical bounds
Dynamics and modelization of large protein nano machines
Auto-assembly of dissipative systems in fixed gradients
